Effect of COVID-19 on manufacturers' D2C sales in the UK 2020
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, more than half of manufacturing businesses in the United Kingdom have seen their direct-to-consumer (D2C) revenue grow or remain steady. In a 2020 survey, 22 percent of manufacturers reported an increase in D2C sales, while 35 percent continue to sell the same volume as before the coronavirus pandemic. Only 13 percent of the manufacturers surveyed started selling D2C since the coronavirus pandemic began.
