According to a survey of social media users aged between 16 and 34 years old in the United States, as of April 2021, approximately 34 percent of respondents followed more than 10 influencers on social platforms. Approximately two in 10 of the surveyed respondents followed between four and six influencers, while only seven percent reported not following any influencers at all.
