According to a survey conducted in July 2021 among South Korean consumers on content consumption, roughly 61.3 percent of Naver Webtoon users in that survey stated to use that webtoon service because a series they wanted to read was available. More than half of the respondents answered it was because they simply got used to using Naver Webtoon over other webtoon services. Naver Webtoon was the main service to consume digital comics in South Korea in 2020.
