According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in South Korea in June 2021 on the impact the coronavirus pandemic had on their choice of retail channel, around 54 percent of respondents answered to now prefer a mix of both on- and offline retail. Another 38 percent answered to have switched from shopping in physical stores to shop exclusively online.
