According to a Taiwanese consumer survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in May 2021, younger subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) users tended to share accounts while fully-paid subscription was more preferred among older consumers. The survey also found that Netflix was the most popular SVOD platform among respondents in Taiwan.
