SVOD subscription rate in Hong Kong 2021, by age group

According to a Hong Kong consumer survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in May 2021, subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) services were more popular among younger consumers. Only about 35 percent of respondents aged above 55 years were SVOD users, much lower than the figures from other age groups. The survey found that Netflix was the most popular SVOD platform among respondents in Hong Kong.
