According to a Taiwanese consumer survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in May 2021, about 47 percent of male respondents used subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) services every day, compared to 41 percent among females. According to the same survey, smartphone was the most used device to access to SVOD content among respondents in Taiwan.
