According to a Hong Kong consumer survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in May 2021, about 83 percent of male respondents used subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) services at least several times a week compared to 80 percent among females. According to the same survey, smartphone was the most used device to access to SVOD content among respondents in Hong Kong.
