Leading reasons to pay for SVOD in Taiwan 2024
According to a Taiwanese consumer survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in June 2024, about 60 percent of subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) users specified a more abundant and diversified content library on offer as the main reason to pay for SVOD services. About 40 percent of respondents indicated an ad-free viewing experience and the affordability of subscriptions as key for paying for the services.
