During a 2019 survey in multiple European countries, it was found that 32.5 percent of respondents from Belgium agreed that they are willing to cut down on the consumption of red meats such as beef, lamb, and pork. Respondents from Greece were least likely to agree with the statement, while the share of Italians that were in agreement was over 45 percent.
