According to a survey among South Korean customers on their reasons for selling articles as second-hand items, 64 percent of respondents answered to do so because they could get rid of items that they themselves did not use anymore. Around 60 percent gave that they thought it was a waste to just throw an item away as a reason. Second-hand shopping, especially second-hand mobile shopping applications have gained a lot of popularity in South Korea.
