With a media power score of 95.9 points, Chinese National Radio's Voice of China ranked first as the most influential radio channel in China in 2020. Chinese National Radio's other two channels - Business Radio and Music Radio - were among the top ten radio channels in the country.

The report examines 37 national and provincial radio stations with 287 radio channels. The media power score ranking of radio channels is based on the performance on radio sets, Weibo accounts, WeChat accounts, Douyin accounts, and client-network news, audio, and video aggregators, as well as the radio stations' own dedicated apps.

The index ranges from zero to 100 with 100 as the highest value.
