Among Belgian consumers, the most popular product they purchased from an online store located abroad was clothing, according to the results of a 2020 survey. Just over a quarter of respondents stated to have made cross-border purchases for clothing products. Other popular product types included, home electronis and books (both physical and audiobooks), which were bought by 15 and 13 percent of respondents, respectively.
