Africa's share in global natural gas production 2021-2050

By 2050, Africa would account for 11 percent of the global natural gas production. This would be an increment of five percentage points compared to 2021. In that year, natural gas production in Africa reached 231.3 billion cubic meters, with Nigeria and Algeria counting the highest volume of natural gas reserves on the continent.
