Value of IPOs in Africa 2011-2021
As of 2021, capital raised by Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) in Africa amounted to 921 million U.S. dollars. The largest IPO in terms of value was the listing of Digital & Financial Investments SAE on the Egyptian Exchange, raising 371.6 million U.S. dollars. Overall, the capital raised by African companies while going public for the first time has been in decline as well as the number of IPOs.
