The share of K-12 schools in the United States who taught virtually has declined since September 2020. At the beginning of September 2020, 62.4 percent of K-12 schools were teaching students virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This figure declined to 36.4 percent of K-12 schools by February 2021.
