In September 2024, Ding Talk, an instant messaging platform owned by Alibaba Group, was the most popular business and workplace app in China with about 189 million monthly active users. Tencent's WeCom came in second with an active user base of almost 131 million, followed by Kingsoft's office suite WPS Office.
