Share of daily smokers in Norway 2005-2015, by age group

This statistic shows the result of a survey on the share of daily smokers in Norway from 2005 to 2015, by age group. The share of daily smokers has decreased for all age groups over this period. Respondents aged 50 to 64 years reached the highest daily smoking rate in every year, with a share of 18.2 percent of respondents in 2015. That year, 4.8 percent of 16 to 24-year-olds and 11.4 percent of 25 to 49-year-olds smoked daily. The share of daily smokers in the age group of 65 to 74 years was 13.6 percent.
