According to a survey on social media influencers conducted by Rakuten Insight in May 2023, approximately 43 percent of Singaporean respondents stated that clothing and cosmetics were the type of products endorsed by influencers that they would purchase. The same survey found that the majority of Singaporean respondents had purchased an item or product because it had been endorsed by an influencer.
