According to a survey on social media influencers conducted by Rakuten Insight in May 2023, approximately 76 percent of female and 75 percent of male Malaysian respondents stated that they would purchase a product from an influencer collaboration. The same survey found that the majority of Malaysian respondents had purchased one item or product because it had been endorsed by an influencer.
