According to a survey on social media influencers conducted by Rakuten Insight in May 2023, approximately 67 percent of Malaysian respondents aged 25 to 34 years stated that they had not purchased any products endorsed by influencers because there was nothing they needed. The same survey found that the majority of Malaysian respondents followed at least one influencer on social media.
