According to a 2023 survey on social media influencers conducted by Rakuten Insight, approximately 63 percent of respondents in Malaysia aged 25 to 34 years stated that they had purchased an item or product because it had been endorsed by an influencer. The same survey found that the majority of Malaysian respondents followed at least one influencer on social media.
