According to a survey on social media influencers conducted by Rakuten Insight in May 2023, approximately 65 percent of Indonesian respondents stated that they had not purchased any items or products endorsed by influencers because they had not needed the endorsed products. The same survey found that the majority of Indonesian respondents followed at least one influencer on social media.
