According to a survey conducted in August 2020 on internet user profiles in Taiwan, music was the most popular content type in video and audio media, with a user rate of about 89 percent among the surveyed internet users. When it comes to gender comparison, a higher proportion of male users watched movies and streamed, whereas more female users tended to watch shows and plays.
