During the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, several canceled festivals and shows in Quebec have organized virtual editions of the events. However, according to a December 2020 survey, most respondents claimed not to have attended virtual editions of events since the beginning of the health crisis. Overall, only 11 percent of the survey sample stated to have taken part in an online event during the pandemic.
