From the first quarter of 2019 to the first quarter of 2020, food and beverage advertisers were the largest revenue source of the new media marketing business, accounting for nearly a quarter of the total ad spending. As online video and streaming usage has been rising, video content platforms, such as TikTok, Kuaishou, and Bilibili, have become other alternatives to social media for online advertisers in China.
