Gender structure of eSports players in China 2018-2020
China is one of the largest eSports markets in the world, and has seen a growing trend of female players participating in eSports tournaments. It was expected that females would account for 36 percent of eSports professional players in China in 2020. Li Xiaomeng, one of the prominent female Chinese players, is the first woman to win Hearthstone GrandMasters and the world championship on BlizzCon.
