Popular online game genres among students in China 2018-2019

According to a survey conducted between December 2018 to March 2019, approximately 38.8 percent of surveyed primary, middle, and high school students in China stated that their favorite electronic game genre was battling and competition games. Around 26 percent of them said that they liked playing action and shooting games.
