Population aged 15 to 24 years in Ghana 2010-2023
The number of people who were between the ages of 15 and 24 years in Ghana added up to nearly 6.5 million in 2023, which represented an increase of around 158 thousand people from the previous year. Overall, the number of people in this age group has increased since 2010. Furthermore, compared to the population aged 14 years and younger in the country, they represent a lesser percentage of the population, whereas, in comparison with the elderly, they form a greater percentage.
