According to a survey by Rakuten Insight on the usage of dating apps in South Korea in February 2022, around 22 percent of the respondents aged 16 to 24 stated that they stopped using mobile dating apps because they got bored of it, whereas about 20 percent of the survey participants aged 55 and over answered that the app was not working for them or that the people using the app were not what they was looking for.
