According to a survey on mobile dating apps conducted by Rakuten Insight in October 2024, female users showed a higher tendency to quit dating apps than males. About 44 percent of the female mobile dating users from Hong Kong said that they had stopped using dating apps in the past year before the survey time. Tinder was the most popular dating app in Hong Kong.
