According to a survey on mobile dating apps conducted by Rakuten Insight in February 2022, about 51 percent of the respondents aged between 25 and 34 years living in Hong Kong had used mobile dating apps. The same survey found out that Tinder was the most popular dating app in the city.

435 respondents aged 16 to 24 years old,
1,184 respondents aged 25 to 34 years old,
1,157 respondents aged 35 to 44 years old,
631 respondents aged 45 to 54 years old,
503 respondents aged 55 years and above.
