According to a survey by Rakuten Insight on dietary supplements in South Korea conducted in March 2022, around 40.7 percent of the respondents aged 45 to 54 years old stated that their frequency of taking dietary supplements increased after the outbreak of COVID-19. Around 63.7 percent of respondents older than 55 years old stated that their intake had not increased.
