According to a survey by Rakuten Insight on dietary supplements in South Korea conducted in March 2022, around 42 percent of female respondents who took dietary supplements or nutraceuticals stated that their frequency of taking dietary supplements increased after the outbreak of COVID-19. From the same survey, over 78 percent of South Korean respondents answered that they were taking such products.
