Number of periodicals published in China 2013-2019
In 2019, about 2.2 billion of periodical copies were published in China, showing a gradual decrease over the past years. In 2018, there were 10,139 types of periodicals circulated in the country. Owing to the booming social media, newspaper and magazine industries have been shrinking.
