According to a survey on the leading performance metrics used by influencers conducted in Indonesia in 2018, 67 percent of respondents stated that the number of comments was the primary measure of an Indonesian influencers' campaign success. The relatively high internet and social media penetration in Indonesia were among other factors that have been accelerating the popularity of influencer marketing in the country.
