Mobile commerce use frequency in Italy 2019-2020, by age group
People between 35 and 44 years of age were the most keen to shop via mobile commerce platforms in Italy. More than half of the respondents to a survey from this age group, in fact, declared to have made online purchases via smartphone or tablet between October 2019 and September 2020. On the other hand, older people used mobile commerce the least, with 27 percent of respondents aged 55 years or more declaring to have never made such purchases over the period.
