A survey conducted in 2020 revealed that a combined 52 percent of the female respondents in the United Kingdom (UK) disagreed that they grew their own food in their garden or allotment to make the planet more sustainable, compared to 49 percent of their male counterparts. Eight percent of the male respondents strongly agreed with this statement.
