A survey conducted in 2020 revealed that a combined 57 percent of the respondents who were separated in the United Kingdom (UK) disagreed that they grew their own food in their garden or allotment to make the planet more sustainable, compared to 50 percent of the widowed respondents. Nine percent of the respondents living with their partner strongly agreed with this statement.
