A survey conducted in 2020 revealed that 18 percent of the respondents who were single and never married in the United Kingdom (UK) always checked the traffic lights system when buying food, compared to 11 percent of the separated respondents. A share of 29 percent of the divorced respondents stated they never looked at the traffic lights system of the food they were buying.
