A survey conducted in 2020 revealed that 10 percent of the respondents within the 25 to 34 years old category in the United Kingdom (UK) always checked the recommended daily amount when buying food, compared to five percent of the 65 year-olds or older respondents. A share of 36 percent of the respondents aged between 55 and 64 years old stated they never looked at the recommended daily amount of the food they were buying.
