A survey conducted in 2020 revealed that eight percent of the respondents aged between 25 and 34 years old in the United Kingdom (UK) always checked the fiber content when buying food, compared to six percent of the respondents within the 45 to 54 years old age range. A share of 40 percent of the 18 to 24 year-olds stated that they never looked at the fiber content of the food they were buying.
