A survey conducted in 2020 revealed that 13 percent of the respondents aged between 25 and 34 years old in the United Kingdom (UK) always checked the fat content when buying food, compared to 20 percent of the respondents within the 55 to 64 years old age range. A quarter of the 18 to 24 year-olds stated that they never looked at the fat content of the food they were buying.
