Breakdown of mobile shoppers in China Q2 2020, by city tier

As of the second quarter of 2020, around 18.5 percent of China's online shoppers were located in first-tier cities. Meanwhile, approximately 24 percent of online shopping users were from third-tier cities or below. China's lower-tier market acted as a new growth engine for consumption.
