Main opportunities for retail supply chain fulfillment in the U.S. 2020
According to a survey conducted in the United States, retail supply chain experts considered the diversification of product fulfillment an essential aspect in sales and margin increase. In 2020, 55 percent of the respondents believed the fulfillment based on the buy-online-and-pickup in store (BOPIC) model to be very important. Furthermore, 41 percent of interviewees considered local and micro-fulfillment somewhat important.
