In 2020, DocPlanner was the leader among startups in Poland, which reached the maximum valuation of 480 million euros, followed by Huuuge Games. When it comes to startups’ monthly revenue, the largest percentage of companies earned up to 50 thousand zloty per month. Only one percent of companies exceeded monthly revenue of one million zloty. In that year, Polish startups generated the highest revenues in Poland and European countries in general.

Financing startups in Poland

In Poland, startups most often finance themselves from their own sources, followed by support and financing from the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development and domestic accelerators. A relatively new method of funding startups is Venture Capital, where the value of investments in 2020 has increased by 470 million euros compared to 2010. Every third startup raised more than two million zloty funds in fundraising in 2020.
