Use of precision farming on English farms by type 2022

In 2021/22, approximately 23 percent of responding dairy farming businesses in England stated that they used precision farming techniques. Compared to 2017/18 this constitutes an increase of four percent. Grazing livestock, pig & poultry and horticulture businesses had the joint lowest share of precision farming technique use at seven percent of responding farms.
