Reasons for not using precision farming techniques on farms in England in 2019
In October of 2019, when asked why they did not use precision farming techniques approximately 63 percent of responding farm holdings in England that did not use such techniques stated that they didn't do so because the techniques were not relevant to their farm. Almost half of the questioned holdings stated that they did not do so to because the techniques were either too expensive or not cost effective.
