The source notes: 'Results are weighted to represent the whole population of farm businesses that have at least 25,000 Euros of standard output as recorded in the annual June Survey of Agriculture and Horticulture. In 2018/19, this accounted for approximately 57,100 farm businesses.'

The farm size bands used within the detailed results tables which accompany this publication are shown in the table below.
