As of 2018, 79 percent of households in Ghana was composed of at least one child below the age of 18 years. Moreover, 70 percent had at least one child aged between five and 17 years. In 76 percent of households, there was at least one woman between the ages of 15 and 49 years. The smallest share of household composition was that with at least one child of less than five years.
